WASHINGTON, Jul 2 Twitter owner Elon Musk announced that he is increasing the limits on the number of posts that users of the social network can read daily.
He announced the restrictions on Saturday, explaining them by the need to combat «scraping» — the automated collection of data arrays.
«Now up to 10 thousand, one thousand and five hundred,» he wrote on Twitter, referring to the number of posts that can be read per day owners of verified, unverified and new unverified accounts, respectively.
The limits were originally set at 6,000, 600, and 300, then raised by Musk to 8,000, 800, and 400. Data collection is «extremely aggressive» on Twitter by several hundred organizations, and asked users for advice on how to deal with such practices that affect the quality of the social network.
