The car will be designed for public roads and off-road. During the tests, it moved smoothly and without the usual engine noise, briskly overcame a slope of more than 25 percent, accelerated quickly.
The battery charging time is four hours (from 380 volts), as well as 12 hours (from 220 volts). According to the developers, the retail price of an electric car will vary depending on the configuration and type, but it will be significantly lower than offers on the market and will start from an amount below 2.9 million rubles. The cost per kilometer of the «electric loaf» is 1.1 rubles, which is six times lower than that of a similar car with an internal combustion engine. EAEU, this task has already been completed by 80 percent. According to him, work is underway to replace the inverter controller and on-board charger with domestic equipment.
The company plans to develop several models of electric UAZ: a convertible for transporting tourists in the mountainous and difficult regions of Crimea, an electric truck for transporting manufactured goods and products inside cities and municipal vehicles. The authors of the project hope that the novelty will interest the Ministry of Defense and special services with the possibility of silent transportation of reconnaissance groups. Pilot production is planned to be launched this year, and small-scale production — in 2024.
