Beijing, Jul 13 China and Germany have many common interests Beijing hopes to work with Berlin to bring more stability to a troubled world, according to a statement released Thursday on the website of the Chinese Embassy in Germany.
Germany on Thursday published a strategy towards China. The document states that the FRG calls for «changing the approach» to China and defining new parameters of cooperation. The strategy aims to show the ways and means by which the federal government can cooperate with China without compromising the way of life, sovereignty, prosperity, security of Germany and its partnerships with other countries.
«China and Germany have many common interests in promoting a multipolar world, protecting free trade and combating climate change,» the statement said.
Beijing hopes that «both sides will work towards each other, adhere to the principles of mutual benefit and mutually beneficial results, jointly meet global challenges, and bring more stability and positive energy to a turbulent world.»
