VELIKY NOVGOROD, July 13 A drug courier with 3 kilograms of «synthetics» was detained on a highway in the Novgorod region, the man was carrying drugs to Moscow, the press service reports Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
“A 30-year-old suspect was detained on the Borovichi-Kogogoshcha highway of the Borovichi district in an attempt to sell the drug N-methylephedron in an especially large amount. The prohibited substance was packaged in three plastic bags and hidden in a backpack in the back seat interior of a car of the Lada brand, in which he traveled along the roads of the Novgorod region in the direction of Moscow in order to sell the drug,» the report says.
It has been previously established that the man purchased the drug through a messenger in the city of Boksitogorsk, Leningrad Region. The approximate cost of a consignment of a banned substance is more than 9 million rubles.
