The State Duma of the Russian Federation approved an amendment to increase by five years of the reserve age limit. We are talking about some categories of citizens who have military ranks.
According to the innovations, the new age limit will be for midshipmen, warrant officers, sergeants, sailors and soldiers who are in the reserve. For those who belong to the first category, the age limit is raised from 35 to 40 years. For the second category — from 45 to 50 years, and for the third — from 50 to 55.
Among other things, the amendments increase the age limit for being in the mobilization reserve. For senior officers — 65 years, junior officers — 60 years, and for those who have other ranks — 55 years.
