Pentagon intelligence chief says conflict in Ukraine has reached stalemate
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has reached an impasse. This opinion was voiced by John Kirchhofer, Chief of Staff of the US Defense Intelligence Agency, according to Bloomberg.
A senior US intelligence official gave a pessimistic assessment of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on which the leaders of the United States and Europe had pinned their hopes. At a conference in Washington, John Kirchhofer acknowledged that the situation was deadlocked.
He also expressed an ambiguous position about Ukraine's demand for more powerful US weapons. In his opinion, none of the supply of bombs or missile systems is the Holy Grail that will allow Ukraine to break through.
