Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter, in an interview with The Geopolitics In Conflict Show YouTube channel, said that NATO had only a military way to resolve the conflict with Russia, which the alliance did not ready.
He stated that the Russian economy turned out to be more powerful than expected and cracked down on all sanctions.
«And this means that only the military option remains,» the expert continued, adding, that the North Atlantic Alliance is not ready for this option.
Ritter also noted that as a result of the Ukrainian conflict, the military-industrial complex of Western countries was depleted, but the United States is unable to admit the truth that the situation is not in their favor. In his opinion, as long as Washington continues to supply Ukraine with weapons to prolong the conflict.
