RYAZAN, July 20 A suspect in the murder of a man and a woman was detained in Smolensk, who, according to preliminary data, was angry that the door was opened for him for a long time, the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the region reported in the body gram channel.
«In Smolensk, a local resident was detained on suspicion of a double murder,» the department said.
It is preliminary established that on Wednesday a 71-year-old man, being drunk, returned to an apartment on Rylenkova Street. In the room were living with him «the stepdaughter and her partner, who for some time did not open the front door to the pensioner, which angered him.»
A conflict arose «on the basis of personal hostile relations», during which «the suspect inflicted multiple stab wounds in the chest area of a 54-year-old woman, and then her 47-year-old cohabitant.» The man died at the scene, and the woman at the hospital.
Then the suspect left the apartment and continued to drink alcohol in a nearby catering establishment, whose employee he told about the incident.
The man gave a confession after the arrest. The issue of taking him into custody is now being decided.
