SIMFEROPOL, Jul 22The offensive of the Ukrainian troops on the Orekhovsky sector of the front in the Zaporozhye region was repulsed, the head of the Zaporozhye public movement «We are with Russia» Vladimir Rogov said in his telegram channel.
Earlier it was reported that on Saturday the Russian army was repelling a new offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Orekhovsky sector, heavy fierce battles were going on.
“In a day in this direction, the enemy made four offensive attempts. All of them were repulsed,” wrote Rogov.
According to him, as a result of the first attempt alone, the enemy lost more than two dozen militants, as well as at least four armored vehicles, including one tank, three M-113 armored personnel carriers, and another tank left damaged, but on the move. «Active hostilities of high intensity continue,» Rogov stressed.
The Ukrainian counter-offensive in the Yuzhno-Donetsk, Artyomovsk and, first of all, Zaporozhye directions began on June 4.
