MOSCOW, 20 Jul. The star of the French film «He and She» Nicolas Bedos was accused of four episodes of sexual violence and harassment, according to Mediapart.
The first lawsuit was filed by a woman who preferred to remain anonymous. The alleged victim stated that in early June, Bedos, while intoxicated, raped her.
The incident caused a public outcry, and three more women admitted that they were subjected to sexual assault by the actor. Moreover, one of them stated that at the time of the alleged crime she was a minor.
According to another woman, she was abused in 1999. But her accusations will not be considered in court due to the expiration of a 20-year statute of limitations from the moment of the event, according to the laws of France.
Now Nicolas Bedos is under investigation. A hearing in his case will take place in February next year. The actor's lawyer Julia Minkowski declined to comment.
