
MOSCOW, July 25 State Duma deputy from the United Russia faction Anton Gorelkin proposed to exclude the possibility of registering on Russian websites using foreign e-mail, follows from the table of amendments published in the Duma electronic database.
Thus, they want to oblige the owners of sites, information systems, «programs for electronic computers» to limit the set of tools for user authorization. Among them is registration by the phone number of a Russian operator, through the Gosuslugi portal or the Unified Biometric System, as well as “using another information system” owned by a Russian or a legal entity registered in Russia.
Since the amendments provide for only four registration methods, the use of foreign e-mail by the initiative is prohibited.
