We are talking about SIA TV Rain (Latvia) and TVR Studios B.V. (Netherlands). As stated in the release, these organizations were created by a foreign journalist N. Sindeeva*, who has Russian citizenship. They are funded by the Dutch foundation Stichting 2 Oktober*.
«SIA TV Rain and TVR Studio s B.V. distribute materials of extremist organizations («FBK»**, «Navalny's headquarters»**), terrorist organizations («Hizb ut-Tahrir»***), foreign agents («Medusa»*, Radio Liberty*). On a regular basis, they publish informational materials of organizations recognized as undesirable,» the Prosecutor General's Office said.
Moreover, both organizations were created after the Prosecutor General's Office and Roskomnadzor restricted access to Dozhd's website *, the TV channel and its pages on social networks, the release notes.
Dutch and Latvian journalists with Russian citizenship are involved in preparing materials for the TV channel. All of them appear in the register of foreign agents: Tikhon Dzyadko*, Ekaterina Kotrikadze*, Vladimir Romensky*, Anna Mongait*, Sofia Groysman*, Maria Borzunova* and others.
SIA TV Rain and TVR Studios B.V . publish a large number of video materials, access to which is limited due to violations of Russian law, the Prosecutor General's Office added. In addition, they discredit Russian state authorities, law enforcement agencies, spread fakes about a special military operation, support foreign agents and distribute materials from organizations whose activities are recognized as undesirable in Russia, the supervisory authority concluded.
