UN, Jul 26 UN Secretary General António Guterres condemns in the strongest terms attempts to seize power in Niger by force, urges players to show restraint, said spokesman Stephane Dujarric.
«The UN Secretary General is closely monitoring the situation in Niger. He condemns in the strongest terms any effort to seize power by force and undermine democratic rule, peace and stability in Niger, the General Secretary urges all players to exercise restraint and ensure the protection of the constitutional order,» Dujarric said.
