MOSCOW, 29 Jul. The Ukrainian army decided to launch massive attacks with armored groups, for which they paid with the loss of a large amount of military equipment, ex-US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel.

«Since yesterday days of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went on a massive attack with the help of armored vehicles. We are talking about groupings of 20 tanks, 30 infantry fighting vehicles, moving simultaneously. <…> But the same thing happened as before. The Russians tore them apart, destroyed the tanks and pushed back the Ukrainians,” the officer said. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that any attempts by the Ukrainian forces to advance failed, the enemy troops were stopped and thrown back to their original positions.
