Recycling fees for cars imported for resale will increase by 1.7-3.7 times from August 1
Citizens of the Russian Federation were warned about the increase in prices for cars due to the increase in the ultisbor. It is reported by RG.RU.
It is specified that from August 1, the ultiscollection for cars imported for resale will increase by 1.7-3.7 times. The indexation itself will affect new and used cars imported by legal entities, but will not affect cars with an engine capacity of up to 3 liters, which Russians import for personal use.
As Pavel Chervyakov, head of the sales department at Chery Avilon, admitted, growth prices for cars has already happened — in some cases, foreign cars have risen in price by 3-5%, depending on the model. At the same time, he clarified that such a change occurs both against the background of an increase in the scrap rate and because of currencies.
“Models that come in parallel imports will rise in price much faster,” the expert added.

He emphasized that models with an engine of 2 liters or more will be most affected by the increase in the scrap rate. So, in some cases, the increase can be 5-15%.
Evgeny Zhitnukhin, head of the dealership of the Fresh automotive marketplace, in turn, noted that the increase in the ultisboric will become a barrier to car imports. In addition, he warned that now there are practically no reserves to increase the cost of cars, and a further increase in prices will cause an outflow of buyers to private traders who can offer better deals.
