KRASNOYARSK, Aug. 4 More than 200 people, including 20 children, were evacuated from a house in Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, where household gas exploded, reports regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Earlier, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that on Friday evening, household gas popped in a five-story residential building on Kalandarashvili Street. According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Health, 11 people were injured, seven were hospitalized. According to the region's IC, work was carried out in the houses to replace the pipes of gas equipment. In connection with the popping of household gas, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of safety rules in the course of construction work, which negligently entailed the infliction of grievous harm to human health). On the footage of the local television company LimonTV, eyewitnesses stated that the workers had several cases of beer in glass bottles during the replacement of gas equipment.

According to the regional head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the forces and means of the fire and rescue garrison, as well as the police and doctors, consisting of 38 people and 14 pieces of equipment, left for the place.
