BARNAUL, August 5 The Russian economy will definitely grow by more than two percent by the end of the year, said the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov during a working trip to the Altai Territory.

At the end of July, the President announced the expected GDP growth of more than two percent Vladimir Putin. He pointed out that since the second quarter of last year, the country's economy began to grow by about 0.5-0.7 percent quarterly.
On July 21, the Central Bank improved the forecast for GDP dynamics in 2023. Now the regulator expects the growth of the Russian economy in the range of 1.5-2.5 percent instead of 0.5-2 percent.
This week, the Ministry of Economic Development estimated GDP growth in Russia in the first half of the year at 1.4% .
