ISTANBUL, Aug 4 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that he is counting on the visit of Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to Turkey during August.
«The date of the visit has not yet been determined, but our foreign minister, the head of intelligence — everyone is negotiating … I think that this visit will take place during August, God forbid,» Erdogan told reporters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish leader Recep Erdogan confirmed their intention to meet soon, the place and dates of the meeting will be agreed through diplomatic channels, the press secretary of the Russian head of state said earlier Dmitry Peskov.
