Saudi Arabia in Jeddah proposed a new plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict
Representatives of about 40 countries from various states are in Saudi Jeddah, where they discuss the settlement of the conflict on the territory of Ukraine. German media reported that the participants were discussing a new peace plan proposed by Saudi Arabia.
«The plan includes recognition of the integrity of Ukraine, a ceasefire on all fronts, the start of peace talks under the supervision of the UN and the exchange of prisoners,» — the message says.
It is specified that Saudi Arabia informed Russia about the progress of the negotiations.
Negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict began on August 5. Russia was not invited there.
