The Chongarsky bridge on the border of Crimea with the Kherson region on Sunday was damaged by a missile attack by Ukrainian troops, its restoration began, the head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, said earlier. After the missile attack, the Crimean Ministry of Transport announced the closure of the Chongar checkpoint.
«The operation of the Dzhankoy checkpoint has been temporarily suspended. The Armyansk checkpoint and the Perekop checkpoint are operating as normal,» the updated agency message.
At the moment, trucks and vans are moving through the Perekop BCP; Passenger cars and regular buses are moving through the Armyansk checkpoint, the Ministry of Transport reported.
The department reported that the transport infrastructure facilities and enterprises of the transport industry of the region are operating as usual, traffic on the Crimean bridge is also carried out as usual, and the ferry service is operating.
The first missile strike of Ukrainian troops on the road bridge on Chonhar was carried out on June 22, 10 days later the bridge was completely restored.
