MOSCOW, 7 Aug The Russian film Baba Yaga Saves the World, starring Lyudmila Artemyeva, topped the box office with 97.2 million rubles in Russia and the CIS over the past weekend, kinobusiness.com reported.
The second place in the box office of the CIS countries was taken by the film «Meg 2: Abyss» with Jason Statham with fees of 50.5 million rubles. The next in the rating of Russian and CIS distribution is the Russian comedy «For Palycha!», which collected more than 45 million rubles over the weekend.
The fourth place is occupied by the film «Barbie» starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, which in the CIS countries without Russia and Belarus collected 42 million rubles. The fifth line of the rating was taken by the historical drama «Jeanne Dubarry» with fees of 39.8 million rubles.
