MOSCOW, Aug 13 The average cost of a lunch of meatballs and mashed potatoes in July was 254.54 rubles, which was the highest since June last year, follows from calculations based on Rosstat data.
To prepare about two servings of cutlets with mashed potatoes, you will need 400 grams of minced meat, one chicken egg, onion, four potatoes, 50 grams of butter, 25 milliliters of vegetable oil, fresh herbs and salt.
Almost a year ago, such a set of products could be bought for 262.52 rubles. Since then, its value has been declining until the beginning of this year, after which it began to gradually increase again, reaching 254.54 rubles in July. A month earlier, this set of products cost 254.31 rubles, and at the beginning of the year — 247.01 rubles.
Among the ingredients needed to make «cutlets with puree», eggs have risen in price over the month — by 12 kopecks, to 7.85 rubles, and potatoes — by 0.084 rubles, to 18.53 ruble. The rest of the ingredients fell slightly over the month, and a kilogram of onions cost 1.1 rubles less.
