MOSCOW, August 11 The national Indian holiday Holi starts in the Dream Island Moscow park on Friday and will last until August 13, the organizers of the Day India».
The holiday will be held as part of the eighth festival «Day of India» from 11 to 13 August in Moscow. Attending the event is free, everyone will be able to paint themselves and those around them with colorful paints.
“Holi is one of the oldest holidays in India, symbolizing the victory of good over evil, joy and love. During the India Day 2022 festival, more than 2,000 people took part in a bright celebration,” said the organizers of the festival.
This year, 20 zones are presented at the festival: wedding, Holi, dancing, yoga, Bollywood, mehendi, astrology and others. More than 70 yoga schools, 200 Russian and Indian dancers, 120 shops and restaurants of Indian cuisine came to the festival.
