MOSCOW, Aug 16 African designers and stylists will present their work at the site of the international festival of culture Afrofest in Moscow, said the head of the department of African countries of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, president of the House of Africa Serge Fokas Odunlamy.

"As part of this event, we invited designers and stylists, artists from Africa. They fly in to show their work. We will have nine sites that will operate separately from each other, and Moscow residents will have the opportunity to visit them. Muscovites will be able to take part in master classes in dancing, playing African instruments,» he said, speaking at the press center.
The festival will take place on August 26 in Kuzminki Park. The main goal of the event is to familiarize Russians with the wealth of African heritage and contemporary African art, mutual cultural exchange in the fields of the Greater Eurasian space, including the possibility of expanding business ties.
Embassies of African countries have expressed their desire to take part in the festival and are preparing surprises, Odunlamy added.

Of course, there will also be a separate closed VIP area, where there will be ambassadors of African countries, organizers and the city leadership, which helped us organize the event» , — Odunlamy concluded.
Entrance is free, he pointed out, while noting that there is a list of things that should not be brought to the event. According to him, the rules of visiting can be found on the official website of the festival.
The program includes a fashion show, a concert program. As indicated on the website, the event has 178 participants, including artists, musicians, artists and chefs. The festival dedicated to African culture will be held in Russia for the third time.
