MINSK, Aug 17 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Diana Panchenko, he expressed confidence that Vladimir Putin would be elected in the presidential elections in Russia in 2024.
«I think that the next president in Russia will be Putin. The elections are in six months. There are no rivals for Putin in Russia now,» — Lukashenka said in an interview.
Lukashenko also expressed the opinion that Putin is now not thinking about who else could take the presidency in Russia and continue the current path of the country's development, because he already has so many issues that need to be addressed.< br>
«The country is big, there are many other problems that need to be solved,» the Belarusian president said.
