MOSCOW, August 19. Soviet and Russian actor Igor Yasulovich died at the age of 82. This was reported in the GITIS Telegram channel.
«It is with great sadness that we announce that today our outstanding master, People's Artist of Russia Igor Nikolaevich Yasulovich has passed away,» the publication says.

Igor Yasulovich was born on September 24, 1941 in the village of Reinsfeld (now Zalesye) in the Samara region. In 1962 he graduated from the acting department of VGIK, and in 1974 — directing. From 1962 to 1964 he served in the Experimental Theater-Studio of Pantomime («Ektemim»). From 1964 to 1993 — at the Moscow theater-studio of a film actor. Since 1993, he has been an actor of the Moscow Youth Theater.
Best known for his roles in the films «The Diamond Arm» (1968), «12 Chairs» (1971), «The Legend of Til» (1976) , «June 31» (1978), «The same Munchausen» (1980), «Mary Poppins, goodbye!» (1983), «Guest from the Future» (1984), «Midshipmen, forward!» (1987) and many others.
He directed the course at the Faculty of Musical Theater at GITIS. In 2001 he received the title of People's Artist of Russia.
