VKS Russia 22 August, two drones were recorded flying reconnaissance near the Crimea, fighter jets were raised to intercept them, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
As reported, the flight was recorded over the Black Sea by means of airspace control. The drones were identified as MQ-9 Reaper and TB2 Bayraktar, they conducted aerial reconnaissance off the coast of Crimea.
After the appearance of Russian fighters, the drones left, the report says.
Earlier, such facts have already fixed. In March of this year, an MQ-9 Reaper drone was discovered moving towards the Russian Federation and violating the borders of the area of the temporary regime for the use of airspace established for the purpose of conducting a special military operation. The drone was intercepted by combat aircraft, lost control and fell into the Black Sea.
