MOSCOW, August 23 Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin approved an updated strategy for the development of the manufacturing industry for the long term, instructing to clarify the sources of funding for the federal development project
At a government meeting, after the report of the Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Industry of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, Mishustin turned to the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov with the question of whether there were sources of funding for the federal project «Development of production of means of production».
«I want you to understand that this is one of the most key areas of our work. Gathering together, you have a number of sources that we talked about. This is my amendment to you, and I will wait for the appropriate decision on financing,» Mishustin told Siluanov.
The Prime Minister noted that it is important to implement all the measures described in the strategy as soon as possible.

Because the development of the manufacturing industry today is, absolutely, one of the most important priorities in achieving the technological sovereignty of the country.
