MOSCOW, August 27The Mi-8 helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia delivered about two tons of food, water and medicines to the cut-off settlements of Shcherbakovka and Mikhailovka in the Primorsky Territory, the press service of the department reports.
From the beginning of August, heavy rains repeatedly fell in Primorsky Krai, leading to floods and flooding. After flooding due to Typhoon Hanun and the polar front, a regional state of emergency was introduced in the middle of the month. Another heavy rain hit the edge on Wednesday and Friday. < br />
