MOSCOW, Aug 27 Member of the Russian Central Election Commission Andrey Shutov extended an invitation to observe the presidential elections in the Russian Federation to the chairman of the election commission of Zimbabwe, Priscilla Chigumba, according to the Telegram channel of the CEC of Russia.
«Andrey Shutov conveyed Ella Pamfilova's invitation to Priscilla Chigumba, head of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission, to take part in monitoring the presidential elections in the Russian Federation,» the agency's publication reads.
Shutov was present in Zimbabwe as an international observer at the general elections and highly appreciated the level of their preparation and conduct.
