Slutsky fears jail time after harsh remarks

MOSCOW, Aug 28 Former head coach of the Russian national football team Leonid Slutsky jokingly suggested that the Ethics Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) would imprison him for five years because of his harsh remarks about the journalist.
On August 12, Lokomotiv played a draw with Samara's Krylya Sovetov (1:1) in the match of the fourth round of the Russian Championship. After the game, railroad striker Artem Dzyuba came into conflict with journalist Vitaly Borodin, promising to «put his phone in one place» if he came up to him again. Based on the results of the incident, the FTC RFU decided to disqualify Dziuba for two matches conditionally and fine him 50 thousand rubles. Show», called the journalist «a 19-year-old moron.» On August 28, the communications service of the RFU announced that Slutsky's statement on the incident with the Lokomotiv football player Dzyuba and journalist Borodin would be considered by the ethics committee.
