It's hard to imagine the «borscht set» will ever give way to a more popular equivalent. But on the eve of September 1, the measure of solvency for many was the collection of the child to school, the so-called «school set». The fork regarding the assessment of this very set is impressive — parents can spend from 8 to 46 thousand rubles.
The rise in price of the «school kit» noted in the State Duma. The first deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Education, Yana Lantratova, stopped in the middle — contacted the Prime Minister with a proposal to pay parents 26,000 rubles for school fees. After all, “many (parents) are forced to take out loans in order to get their child to school,” — said the parliamentarian. Funds for payment are proposed to be taken from the reserve fund.

In 2022, such a set cost 5.5 thousand rubles.
Further, the recruiting agency in its study considered the cost of «school kit» in different cities of the Russian Federation. It turned out predictably: the most expensive thing is to bring children to school in Moscow and St. Petersburg: 15 and 14 thousand rubles, respectively. But the most tangible blow to the wallet was felt by the residents of Kazan and Yekaterinburg – in these cities, the increase in prices compared to the previous year amounted to 13%. In general & nbsp; "school set" in cities and villages, they were estimated at 11-12 thousand rubles.
The other day, trade associations that unite both retail chains and retailers announced that according to their data, prices have not increased at all and «remain at the level of last year.» «Protest performance» sellers of children's and school goods followed a rather unexpected calculation by VTsIOM. The largest Russian «questionnaire» estimated the parental costs for all items and for the Hamburg account at 43,029 rubles. This means that, compared to last year, fees per child have risen by as much as 30% by September 1.

Thank God, my children often wear out clothes/shoes from last season. But I know mothers whose children grow half a head over the summer, and not only boys, but also girls are so fast-growing. They need all new clothes and shoes every year.
