MOSCOW, Aug 31 Vladimir Zelensky made it clear what will happen to run for a second term if elections are held in 2024, according to the Portuguese TV channel RTP.
“
“In 2024, if the conflict continues, and if elections are held, I will never leave my country,” Zelensky said in an interview with the TV channel.
The TV channel notes that that by these words he meant that he would run if the elections were held.
Earlier, on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon, Zelensky said that holding elections during martial law is prohibited, but there is such a possibility if the parliament supports the relevant legislative changes, the West will allocate money, and observers will be in the trenches as well.
