MOSCOW, August 30 People's Artist of the USSR, ballerina of the Bolshoi Theater Svetlana Adyrkhayeva was buried at the Troyekurovsky cemetery, the theater's press service reported.
Adyrkhayeva died on August 27 at the age of 86.

“A farewell to the outstanding ballerina took place at the Bolshoi Theater, then a funeral service was held, and the funeral has just ended at the Troekurovsky cemetery, where she found her last shelter next to her husband,” said the representative of the press service .
The ballerina's husband was choreographer Alexei Zakalinsky, who passed away on June 13, 2009.
Svetlana Adyrkhaeva was born on May 12, 1938 in the village of Khumalag (North Ossetia). In 1955, the artist graduated from the Leningrad Choreographic School (class of Varvara Mei, Elena Shiripina). In 1980 she graduated from the ballet master department of the State Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS). She was awarded the title «People's Artist of the USSR» in 1984. At the Bolshoi Theater she performed the parts of Odette-Odile in Swan Lake, street dancer in Don Quixote, Magnolia in Cipollino and many others.
