MOSCOW, September 1 Domestic clothing retailer Melon Fashion Group (managed by Zarina, Befree, Love Republic and Sela) has registered the Zarina Home trademark, the correspondent was convinced.
According to information from the application for registration sent to Rospatent, it covers many categories, including cutlery, writing instruments, candles, tablecloths, shower curtains, bed linen, furniture covers, carpets, towels, etc. At the same time, in the column «state of record keeping» it is indicated that «the decision on registration has been made.»
The company itself told the agency that they are considering various development options. «It is premature to talk about specific plans for the launch of Zarina Home,» the retailer said.
At the end of August, the Yandex Market marketplace announced that with the help of a team of former employees of the Swedish IKEA, it began to produce furniture under its own brand. And before that, in May, the Lamoda platform launched under its own brand the sale of bed linen produced by one of the factories that previously supplied linen for the Swedish IKEA chain.
In addition, even before the departure of the Swedish brand, the shoe brand Ekonika announced the start of sales of products under the Ekonika home brand.
