MOSCOW, September 3Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated workers and veterans of the oil and gas industry on their professional holiday, noting that the uninterrupted operation of enterprises and factories is ensured thanks to the hard work and professionalism of workers, so their profession is respected in society, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
«Thanks to your hard work, professionalism, responsibility, dedication to your vocation, the smooth operation of enterprises and factories, transport, and agriculture is ensured. Large-scale projects are being implemented that improve the well-being of millions of our citizens. That is why your profession is highly respected in society,» — the message says.
He added that despite external restrictions, the industry is effectively responding to the challenges of the time, ensuring the production and export of hydrocarbons. In addition, today companies continue to develop promising fields, including in the Arctic and on the continental shelf. New logistics chains are being formed, energy supply routes are being developed. Oil refineries are being modernized, projects in the petrochemical industry are being implemented. On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a social gasification program is being implemented.
The Prime Minister noted that much is being done to rationally extract and process raw materials and improve environmental safety.
