MOSCOW, September 4 Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to increase the amount of grants for scientific research in universities to 500 million rubles for Russians and up to 250 million rubles for foreigners , is reported in the text of instructions published on the Kremlin website.
«Increase the maximum amount of grants from the Government of the Russian Federation for state support of scientific research conducted under the guidance of leading scientists in Russian educational organizations of higher education, scientific institutions and state scientific centers of the Russian Federation, to 500 million rubles for Russian scientists and up to 250 million rubles for foreign scientists, providing for the possibility of conducting scientific research using grant funds for five years and extending the specified period,” the message says.
The deadline is October 15. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was appointed responsible.
