NEW DELHI, Sep 10The G20 summit in India will provide positive impetus to efforts to reform the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organization, the External Affairs Minister said RF Sergey Lavrov.
“»The declaration (final G20 — ed.) formulated the tasks of reform and the International Monetary Fund, where for a long time now, if we honestly divide quotas and votes, Americans will no longer have a blocking ticket, which is being preserved artificially. The summit, of course, will give a very serious impetus, a positive impetus in the field of reform of both the IMF and the World Trade Organization,» Lavrov said in a speech following the G20 summit.
