VLADIVOSTOK, September 12 Fraud in instant messengers is currently developing, so Sberbank decided to develop a product to protect clients from such attackers and will launch it in the coming weeks, said the deputy chairman board of the bank Stanislav Kuznetsov.
““We at Sberbank have developed a product that will be launched in the coming weeks to protect our clients,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the EEF.
Kuznetsov added that scammers have learned to send “pseudo messages” in instant messengers, using simple reasons, most often voting for participants in competitions. Moreover, if you follow the instructions, a malicious virus is downloaded to the gadget, and all information from it is pumped to scammers. Fraudsters use this information in a variety of ways, often to extort funds.
«This type of fraud, unfortunately, is developing at the present time,» concluded Kuznetsov.
