Yandex.Music, at the request of Roskomnadzor, deleted the podcast from Yekaterinburg It's My City “Live not by lies”, this was reported by the publication itself, the editors of which received relevant notifications from the regulator and the streaming service.
According to the version Roskomnadzor, the It's My City podcast is “aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation” in Russia “during a special military operation,” and its releases contain “fakes” that create a “threat of mass disruption of public order and security.”
The podcast “Live Not by Lies” included episodes about the persecution of Russians for their words, recruitment for the war in Ukraine, as well as the new law banning “LGBT propaganda and gender reassignment.”
In July, Yandex.Music removed the Kavachai podcast, which talks about the war between Ukraine and Russia, and in March, the Meduza podcast called Deadline, which talks about the work of Russian media in conditions of war.
