LIPETSK, September 22 Five villages in the Lipetsk region and more than one and a half thousand of their residents were provided by the regional authorities with the Internet using LTE technology; By the end of the year, digital communications will appear in another 27 settlements of the Lipetsk region, Governor Igor Artamonov said.
He clarified that five new cell towers were built in the village of Knyazhnaya and the village of Vasilievka in the Volovsky district, in the village of Zhernovnoye in the Dolgorukovsky district, in the villages of Malinino and Sindyakino in the Khlevensky district. According to Artamonov, by the end of the year uninterrupted Internet will come to another 27 villages located in 12 districts of the Lipetsk region.
«Work on building the necessary infrastructure will continue. High-quality cellular communications and the ability to access the Internet should be available everywhere in the region. This is not a luxury, but a regular package of services necessary for life, work, study, and communication,» – says Artamonov.
He noted that in almost two years, stable mobile communications and mobile Internet appeared in 35 small settlements in the region.
