Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters at a briefing that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Vladimir Putin in detail on September 24 about the heroic battle in the village of Urozhainoye.

“The battle was heroic, and Shoigu told Putin about all the details, that happened there,” said the head of the Kremlin press service, recalling that the Minister of Defense nominated the deputy platoon commander Kalashnikov with the call sign “Bolshoi” to the title of Hero of Russia.
It was previously reported that five Russian soldiers repelled an attack by 12 Ukrainian attack aircraft and forced them to flee in the Urozhayny area. At the same time, Kalashnikov took on the main heat of the battle, and two of his fighters worked on the Ukrainian attack aircraft from the flanks from the dugouts.
