In Yekaterinburg, the editor-in-chief of Real Journalism was fined 30 thousand rubles under the article on “discrediting” the army

The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg fined the editor-in-chief of the Real Journalism news agency, Alexander Romanenkov, 30 thousand rubles. This was reported by Vecherniye Vedomosti with reference to the press service of the court.

The journalist was found guilty of “discrediting” the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code). What exactly became the reason for the protocol is unknown. As the publication writes, back in May the “Call of the People” movement complained about Romanenkov and several Yekaterinburg journalists.

After that, in the summer, the Verkh-Isetsky court of Yekaterinburg already fined the editor-in-chief of “Real Journalism” 45 thousand rubles the same administrative article. Then the protocol was drawn up because of the journalist’s statement, which ended up on the Trukha Ukraine channel.
