Investigators arrested a native of the Saratov region , suspected of murder 30 years ago. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The incident occurred on the night of April 27, 1993 in the city of Balakovo.
The figurehead met a man in a cafe, then he invited her with friend to an apartment on Stepnaya Street. At the end of the evening, the man and woman retired to the room, but the couple quarreled there. The angry woman struck her acquaintance numerous times on the head and neck. Then the friends left the apartment, and the murdered man was only discovered by a friend in the morning. This version is put forward by the investigation.
The Investigative Committee noted that in 2023, the suspect’s friend violated traffic rules, which resulted in serious harm to human health. It is clarified that the offender’s prints coincided with those recorded 30 years ago.
As a result of well-coordinated investigative and procedural work with both citizens, the 63-year-old woman gave a confession.
