The Moscow Planetarium reported that In October 2023, several astronomical events await the inhabitants of the Earth, of which the most worthy of attention are an annular eclipse of the Sun, a partial eclipse of the moon and two starfalls.
The solar eclipse will occur from 18:05 to 23:55  ;October 14. It can be seen from North America and South America, in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, but not from the territory of Russia.
The lunar eclipse from 22:36 to 23:53 on October 28 can be seen from Russia and the CIS countries, except for the easternmost regions, but the shadow from the Earth will cover the Sun by only 6 percent.
The maximum of the Draconids meteor shower will occur on October 9, the Orionids on October 21.
