MOSCOW, September 25, Yulia Zachetova. Alexey Panin*, Maxim Galkin*, Anatoly Bely, some other actors, showmen, and performers left the country. And they persistently criticize Russia. Things are not going very smoothly for them. About how Russian artists live abroad — in the material .
Alexey Panin*: drunken brawl in Estonia
Alexey Panin*, who was put on the wanted list by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs at the end of May, often gets into scandals. The other day he was detained in Estonia for drunken brawling: the actor, in an inappropriate state, tried to break into the houses of local residents.
At the same time, he thought that he was “in a hotel.” The police handed him over to the sobering-up station.
«
“Employees of the Ida-Harju branch of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Department reported that Alexey Panin* was taken to one of the Tallinn sobering-up centers. We will continue to monitor the development of the situation. If necessary, we will provide consular assistance to the Russian citizen,” the Russian embassy said.
The actor tried to refute everything. He showed a video from the airport on social networks and asked an unfamiliar girl to confirm that everything was fine with him.
“
"Do you know who I am? Can I see you for a second? I didn't persuade the girl. We are located at Tallinn airport. It’s just that the press writes that I was detained by the police for some reason…” — he says in a video published on his Telegram channel.
Panin* is no stranger to showdowns: before this, he had already staged a drunken row on an airplane, spoke ambiguously about the Northern Military District and about the victory of the USSR in the Great Patriotic War war, insulted a policeman in St. Petersburg.
At the same time, he has no roles in cinema or theater. Only interviews with Ukrainian artists and journalists who escaped from Russia.
Anatoly Bely: disrupted Lenkom tour in Israel
Former actor of the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov Anatoly Bely called for the cancellation of the Lenkom tour in Israel. At the end of October, the legendary performance of Mark Zakharov, “Funeral Prayer,” was supposed to be shown at the Habima National Theater. The actor was indignant.
“
"Dear experienced Israelis, can you explain to me what this is? <…> And most importantly, how can we prevent this shame from happening? “I’m really looking forward to constructive answers and appropriate actions,” the actor wrote on his page on the social network.
Tickets for the performances in Tel Aviv were sold out in a few days, but Lenkom director Mark Varshaver, despite the excitement from the audience, decided to postpone the tour.
«
“The fact is that a bunch of hooligans led by actor Anatoly Bely, who is well known in Russia, are threatening and are going to prevent Lenkom from touring.” We don't need problems. As the director of a theater, the health of my artists and employees is much more important to me — and we had to go there with a large group of a hundred people — than the tour. “I can’t afford to take risks and I won’t,” he said.
At the same time, Bely also faced the cancellation of his own performances. Thus, in Turkey in May, screenings of his project “I am here” did not take place due to the “unstable political situation before the elections.”
Anna Netrebko: legal proceedings in New York< /h3>Opera singer Anna Netrebko was regularly denied performances abroad due to controversial public opinion and “political considerations.” In March, her concert in Taiwan was canceled; in Prague, the artist planned to go on stage in October, but this will not happen either.
The organizers explained this decision by “negative attitudes from Prague political circles” and the emotionally charged atmosphere.
Last year, the Bavarian State Opera and the New York Metropolitan Opera stopped collaborating with the singer. Netrebko sued the latter for discrimination based on nationality, breach of contract and libel, demanding damages in the amount of about 360 thousand US dollars.
The fact is that she did not comply with the requirement to refuse public support for Vladimir Putin against the backdrop of the events in Ukraine.
Nevertheless, some performances by the artist in Europe will still take place. Among the first was Macbeth at the Berlin State Opera on September 15th. According to the singer's representative, Netrebko is not yet going to go on stage in Russia.
Maxim Galkin*: the fight for concerts in Kazakhstan
In September, the showman, who left with his wife Alla Pugacheva to Israel, was supposed to perform in Estonia, but the concert was canceled for unknown reasons. The same thing happened in Kazakhstan, after which the artist spoke emotionally on social networks, complaining about some “behind-the-scenes prohibitions.”
“
“Where I really have problems is, oddly enough, Kazakhstan, and at the state level they are doing their best to prevent my concerts from being held in Astana and Almaty. And for several months now, me and my organizers, we have been fighting to hold these concerts,” said Galkin*.
At the same time, a representative of the venue claims that the artist’s management did not enter into an agreement, but was already selling tickets .
However, later the organizers changed their minds and still allowed the comedian to perform in Astana.
