MOSCOW, September 29 Russia is ready to build interaction with Latin American countries on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international structures, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"We have advocated and advocate for Latin America, in its unity and diversity, to be strong, independent and successful, and for these purposes we are ready to build interactions both on a bilateral basis and to work closely with integration associations of the Latin American region, with the Latin American community and Caribbean states, with the Bolivarian Alliance for the peoples of America, with the South American common market,” Putin said at the international parliamentary conference “Russia — Latin America.”
The President added that Russia will to ensure that the above structures in practical terms establish ties with the Eurasian Economic Union, compare approaches on current issues of trade policy, tariff regulation, investment stimulation and technology transfer.
The first parliamentary conference «Russia — Latin America» began its work on Friday and will last until Monday, with representatives from more than half of the Latin American countries participating.
Trade turnover between the Russian Federation and Latin America has increased by 25% over the past five years, Russian exports have grown by 2.3%, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
