ATHENS, September 30 In the center of the capital of Cyprus Nicosia for the first time massively celebrated the Day of Reunification of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions with Russia, the Russian Center for Science and Culture reported.
The action took place near the center building, along which a street exposition dedicated to this event was placed. It is specified that city residents and tourists will be able to get acquainted with it within a few more days.

The celebration began with an Orthodox prayer service at the icon of the Life-Giving Source, an enlarged copy of which Russian compatriots specially made for this date.
The Chairman of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots of Cyprus, the organizer of the action, Dmitry Apraksin, in his speech convincingly outlined the historical and legal grounds for reunification.

In their speeches, Cypriot public figures who joined the celebration of this significant date condemned the policy of the Cypriot authorities supporting the war with Russia.
