MOSCOW, September 28 British and Irish actor Michael Gambon, best known for his role as Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films, has died at the age of 82, the Press Association reports with reference to his family.

“Sir Michael Gambon died peacefully in hospital at the age of 82,” the message says.
The actor was born on October 19, 1940 in Ireland. In addition to “Harry Potter,” he also starred in the films “The King’s Speech” (2010), “The Book of Eli” (2010), “The Adventures of Paddington” (2014), “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” (2017) and others.
