MOSCOW, October 2 Singer Yegor Creed sued 350 thousand rubles from the Mash Telegram channel, which wrote that the Ministry of Internal Affairs allegedly plans to check him for tax evasion, they reported on Monday at the press service of the Savyolovsky Court in Moscow.
«The court decided to recognize the information disseminated by Mash LLC about Yegor Bulatkin (creative pseudonym — Yegor Creed) as untrue, offensive, discrediting honor, dignity and business reputation. <…> To recover compensation for moral damages damage in the amount of 350 thousand rubles,” the press service said.
In addition, the court prohibited the telegram channel from disseminating this information and ordered it to refute it within 10 days from the date the decision entered into force.
The reason for the lawsuit was a post about the appearance of a “black list of information gypsies” by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, which they allegedly plan to check for involvement in tax evasion and money laundering. Mash named Creed among the candidates for verification.
